Here are a few of our Year 1 children looking very proud of the runner beans they have grown.
Year 1&2 have enjoyed writing their own instructions this week, some children in class and some learning online at home. The children then followed the instructions to make their own yummy jam sandwiches.
Year 1 and 2 have thoroughly enjoyed their practical learning; planting and watering vegetable seeds. They will observe the results over the following weeks.

During a science lesson we used magnifying glasses to look closely at different fruit and vegetables. We discussed how each fruit and vegetable is grown and then we chose our favourite to draw.
