A big well done to children in year three and year four who have completed their Ancient Egyptian projects. All of the work was completed as homework over the past half term, with them creating models inspired by their own research. This included models of ancient gods, a functional throne of Isis and a mummy that you can stick your head through! Once again, well done, you have all out done yourselves and should be very proud!
Here are a few of our Year 1 children looking very proud of the runner beans they have grown.
Hands on learning today. The children enjoyed exploring the role that flowers play in the life cycle of plants by dissecting lily flowers.
A huge congratulations to our Head Boy- Archie.
Archie has been selected to play with the emerging talent squad at Sheffield United.
We are incredibly proud of Archie, his hard work, determination and love of the game have been rewarded with this amazing opportunity. Good luck for your first session on Friday Archie.
Egg-citment about chick number two.
This week Year 3 and 4 began their exploring and observing investigation into what conditions plants thrive in. They have all planted sugar snap seedlings and will be observing how the temperature, light exposure and amount of water given can impact their growth.
