A huge thank you and well done for a fantastic effort on Friday for our Macmillan cake sale. Together we have raised £180, which will be donated to Macmillan cancer support. Well done Farrowdale!

Congratulations to all of our past pupils who have recently received A level and GCSE results. We are proud of your achievements which have included both grade A’s in A levels and grade 9’s in GCSE. A very exciting day of learning at IWM North on Wednesday. We visited the Poppies exhibition and spoke to an lovely lady who was evacuated in WW2.

In school today, children learnt about pioneering and inspirational women. Our juniors also explored the ideas of bias, stereotypes and equality and how to work towards a fairer future.

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, Year 3 and 4 have learnt about the hardworking farmers who produce foods like bananas, sugar, chocolate and coffee. To reflect this, Year 3 and 4 used their hands to recreate the Fairtrade logo.
